96 Etappe | Cromwell --> Lumsden 234km

Das Wetter ist kalt und es regnet | wir fahren weiter nach Quennstown, es regnet weiter | so verbringen wir die Zeit in der Bibliothek und bearbeiten Fotos/Blog etc. | ich kaufe beim Informationszentrum "Tickets" für die Übernachtungen des bevorstehenden, mehrtägigen Wanderwegs | in Queenstown gibt es keinen freien Campingplatz | erst 28km entfernt finden wir einen, direkt am See | es regnet wie aus Kübeln und dort sind hunderte von Sandfliegen, aber trotzdem wunderschön | der Blick schweift auf türikisfarbenes Wasser, dunkelgraue Wolken und schneebedeckte Berge | in der Nacht wars auch echt kalt | die nächste Nacht verbringen wir an einem kostenfreien Parkplatz mitten im Ort Lumsden | nicht so idyllisch, aber dafür mit Toilette, WLAN (von der Bibliothek gegenüber) | für uns nur ein Zwischenstopp, weil der Weg zum Start der Wanderung zu lange gewesen wäre 

The weather is cold and rainy | we drove further to Queenstown, there it rains more | so we spent the time in the library and edit pictures/blog etc. | I bought at the information "tickets" for the overnights for the following, multiple day hiking track | in Quennstown there was no free campground | after 28km we found one, directly at a lake | it rained so much and there were hundreds of sandflies, but although wonderful | the view on türkisblue water, darkgrey clouds and mountains with snow on top | in the night it was really cold | the next night we slept at a parking place for free in the middle of the village Lumsden | not idyllic, but with toilets, WLAN (from the library) | for us a stop, otherwise the way to the beginning of the hiking track would be too long
