121 Etappe | Bozeman Campground and RV Park --> Wallace, City Limits Pub&Grill --> Osoyoos Lake (Canada) --> Wood Lake 1096km

 

Nach den wahnsinnig schönen Eindrücken im Yellowstone Nationalpark UND noch das bestaunen der total Eclipse in einem der atemberaubendsten Nationalparks, die wir je gesehen haben fahren wir weiter in Richtung amerikanisch-kanadische Grenze. Nächster Stop ist nach langer Suche ein Campingplatz in einem Ort zwischen Bahnlinie und Autobahn. Dafür ist er ausgestattet mit bestem Wlan und super Duschen. Am nächsten Tag nutzen wir das Internet noch für Organisatorisches aus und fahren dann im späten Vormittag weiter und ziehen durch bis Wallace. Dort finden wir einen ganz coolen Zeltplatz an einem kleinen Fluss und einer angrenzenden Brauerei, in der wir uns noch das ein oder andere Craft Bier gönnen und einen lustigen Abend verbringen. Der folgende Tag besteht ausschließlich aus Fahren, einkaufen und ENDLICH ankommen in unserem geliebten Kanada!! Wir haben etwas Bammel kurz vor der Grenze, es geht aber alles gut und wir schlafen an einem tollen Campingplatz am Osoyoos Lake mit malerischem Sonnenuntergang und einer kleinen Erfrischung im See. In Kanada fühlen wir uns wieder richtig Wohl und vertraut und fahren straight weiter ins Okanaghan Valley, genauer nach Kelowna. Dort decken wir uns mit frischem Gemüse bei einer Farm ein und ich komme auf meine Kosten bei einer Weinverkostung, während Axel mich chauffiert :) Wir schlafen an einem sehr schönen Campingplatz am Wood Lake, lassen den Abend mit schöner Musik und Dusche ausklingen. Bevor es am nächsten Tag weiter geht besuchen wir noch eine Känguru Farm, die ich unbedingt auf Anraten von Monika sehen wollte. Ich durfte ein Känguru Baby knuddeln, so süß!!! 

After the incredibly beautiful impressions in the Yellowstone Nationalpark AND marvel at the total eclipse in one of the breathtaking Nationalparks we ever saw, we drove further in direction Canadian border. Next stop after a long search for a campground is a place between train line and highway. But we had best wifi and great showers. We used the Wifi at the next day for organization and drove in the late late afternoon till Wallace. We found a cool campground at a river and a brewery the belonging to it. There we drank a few delicious craft beers and had a fun night. The following day only consists of driving and get some groceries till wie FINALLY arrived our beloved Canada!! We were a bit nervous right away before we crossed the border, but everything worked out and we slept at a great campground beside Osoyoos Lake with a scenic sundown and a refresher in the lake. We felt very comfy back in Canada and drove straight to Okanaghan Valley, exact location Kelowna. We bought plenty of vegetables at a farm there, before I got the opportunity to taste a lot of wine at a wine tasting. Axel chaffeured me all the way :) We slept on a wonderful campground at Woodlake, and spent the evening with nice music and shower. Before we drove further on, we visited a kangaroo farm, which I wanted to see after Monika gave us this tip. I was allowed to cuddle a baby kangaroo, so sweet!!!
