115 Etappe | Emerald forest --> Gualala River Redwood Park --> Ocean beach/San Francisco 534km

Für die Strecke nach San Francisco brauchten wir weitere zwei Tage | die kurvige Küstenstraße hindert uns am schneller fahren | die Ausblicke sind wieder bombastisch | das Wetter wechselt von strahlendem Sonnenschein zu dichten Nebelschwaden | die erste Nacht verbringen wir an einem viel zu teurem Campingplatz | Kalifornien als Touristengegend hat hohe Preise (Schlafplatz&Benzin) | am nächsten Tag stoppen wir nochmal kurz vor San Francisco bei einem Surfspot | leider keine guten Wellen, so fuhren wir weiter | wir hatten vor einigen Tagen Kontakt zu Rihanna's (Axels Highschoolfreundin) Freund aufgenommen | Josh hieß uns sofort willkommen | so kamen wir in einem der schönsten Gegenden San Franciscos (Ocean beach) an | zuerst suchten wir noch eine Autowerkstatt auf, da der Kontakt unseres Lichtschalters defekt ist | wir fanden einen chinesischen Mechaniker, der sofort eine Lösung hatte | wir mussten das Teil online bestellen und am nächsten Tag baute er uns den Schalter im die Ecke der Werkstatt ein | das war mal wieder ein Erlebnis | nach einem chilligen Abend mit Josh zogen wir los um die Stadt zu erkunden | von Fisherman's Wharf zu Haight Ashbury und wieder zurück | uns gefällt San Francisco sehr gut | als Dankeschön kochten Axel und ich den Abend für Josh, Gulasch mit Semmelknödeln 

For the distance to San Francisco we needed two more days | because of the curvy coast road we coudn't drive so fast | the views were again amazing | the weather changed from sunny to dense fog | the first night we slept at a totally expensive campground | California as a tourist area is very expensive (campgrounds&gaz) | on the next day we stopped shortly before San Francisco at a surf spot | unfortunately no waves, that we drive further | we contacted few days ago Rihanna's (Axels highschoolfriend) boyfriend | Josh welcomed us directly | so wie stayed in one of the most beautiful areas of San Francisco (Ocean beach) | at first we had to visit a garage, because our lightswitch was defect | we found a Chinese mechanic, who had directly a solution | we had to order the part online and at the next day he repaired it around the corner of his garage | that was again an experience | after a chilled evening with Josh we started to explore the city | from Fisherman's wharf to Haight Ashbury and back | we like San Francisco a lot | as a thank you Axel and I cooked a german dish for Josh
