120 Etappe | Maple Hollow Recreation Site -->Sunrise Campground Bozeman 1171km

Wir brachen mal wieder früh auf und fuhren den ganzen Tag durch | nach dem dritten Anlauf fanden wir einen schönen Campingplatz nahe eine Flusses | auf dem Weg dorthin fielen uns schon sehr viele Touristen auf wg. der bevorstehenden Sonnenfinsternis | auf vielen Feldern war Werbung zu sehen, um dort für Geld (150$) mit dem Auto zu stehen für das Ereignis | wir ließen den Abend ruhig ausklingen | denn am nächsten Tag ging es wieder früh los um den Yellowstone Nationalpark zu erreichen | Gott sei dank fuhren wir entgegen dem Strom, da die 100%ige Sonnenfinsternis weiter im Süden war | während der Fahrt hatten wir einen beinahe Crash | ein Tourist, der es nicht abwarten konnte scherte auf die Gegenfahrbahn aus | Axel reagierte gut und bremste schnell ab, trotzdem waren wir geschockt | wir erreichten den Park mit relativ wenigen Touristen | laut einem Ranger, hatte er noch nie so wenige Touristen in dieser Jahreszeit gesehen | die Landschaft des Nationalparks begeisterte uns total | die abwechselnde Kulisse von Wäldern und Flüssen zu Geysiren und karger Landschaft sowie bunter geothermaler Abschnitte war total kurios 

we startet early again and drove the whole day | after the third attempt we found a nice campground near a river | on the way we saw a lot of tourists because of the eclipse tomorrow | on most of the fields we saw advertisement that people can park their car to watch the eclipse with paying money (150$) | we let the evening finish quietly | because on the next day we started early again to reach the Yellowstone Nationalpark | thank god we drove against the tourist stream, because the total eclipse was further south | during the drive we had a nearly crash | a tourist, who could not wait, drove against the roadway | Axel's reaction was quick and good, nevertheless we were shocked | we reached the national park with relatively less tourists | a ranger told us, that he never saw so less tourists in the summer season | the landscape of the national park totally inspired us | the changing scenery from woods and rivers to geysers and barren landscape as geothermal sections was totally curious
