Etappe 24 | Atyrau --> hinter Aqtöbe 1359 km
Die Stadt Atyrau ist ohne Hochwasser ganz schön | kurz hinter der Ortschaft wird Axel mit über 20 km/h zu schnell geblitzt | von der ursprünglichen Strafe (200 $ Strafe + 7 Tage Führerscheinentzug + Fahrprüfung) konnte er auf umgerechnet 25 $ runterhandeln | manchmal kommen einem die korrupten Polizisten doch recht | auf dem Weg zur größeren Stadt Oral passiert es: Platter Reifen Klappe die 2te | wieder Reserverad drauf gemacht | im nächsten Dorf kann das Ventil ausgetauscht werden und der andere Reifen wieder getauscht werden | hinter Oral auf dem Weg nach Aqtöbe sehen wir ein Overlandauto stehen, Holländer (Henk und Marianne) | sie kommen aus der Mongolei und können uns viele hilfreiche Tips für unsere Strecke geben | an einer Tankstelle sehen wir viele LKW's stehen | wir informieren uns wegen Dieselvorkommen Richtung Süden | laut Einheimischen soll es eine lange Strecke keine Tankstelle geben, dazu gibt es ein Dieselproblem | während dieser Etappe fanden wir 3 Truckstops als Stellplatz | ein Besitzer war sehr kommunikativ und wurde "Fan" von uns (siehe, Menschen die unseren Weg kreuzten) | er und LKW-Fahrer waren uns behilflich bei der Wahl der Route, welche hat die bessere Straße
the city of Atyrau is without flood very nice | right behind the city axel get's a ticket or speeding with over 20 km/h too fast | we could bargain the original ticket (200 $ fine + 7 days license revocation and a driving test) to 25 $ | so sometimes we are happy about corrupt cops | on the way to the next big city Oral it happens again --> flat tyre, the second one | same procedure as every time, installing the reserve tyre and going to the next village in order to get the original tyre fixed | on the way to Aqtöbe we see an overland car standing on the side path, it turns out to be Henk and Marianne from Holland | the just coming from Mongolia and give us a lot of useful information | on a gas station we see a lot of trucks standing there in line | so we think that it is maybe smart to gather some informations about this | local people tell us there is a problem with diesel and also there is for a long way no other gas station | after long bargain we find a gas station that accepts money ( not just government coupons) and even fills our reserve canister | we are sleeping mostly at truck-stops | one of the owners is getting a fan of our trip (see people that crosse our way), he is very communicative | he and a german speaking truck driver are helping us to find the best streets in Kazakhstan...
