75 Etappe | Karangahake --> Raglan 236 Km

Bevor wir losmachen, fährt eine Kolonne von ausgefallenen Caravans los | Menschen, die ein wanderndes Festival betreiben, ziemlich cool | dann gehts ab nach Raglan, die Suferhochburg | auf dem Weg dorthin wollten wir noch das Hobbitdorf in Matamata anschauen | vor Ort bekommen wir aber keine Tickets, alles ausgebucht | war eigentlich auch gut so, da eine Karte 79!!!NZD gekostet hätte | Raglan ist eine total schöne Kleinstadt, wo wir einen Campingplatz nah am Wasser finden | Axel und ich machen noch eine Surfschule ausfindig | so absolvierte ich am nächsten Tag meine ersten Surfstunden | Axel konnte sich eine Board und Anzug leihen und endlich surfen | war ein schönes Gefühl | die Eltern chillten am Strand und konnten uns beim surfen zuschauen | am Nachmittag spazierten wir noch durch die Stadt und genossen das schöne Wetter | es war schön anzusehen, dass die Neuseeländer so aktiv sind und das Leben genießen | in der Stadt fanden wir tatsächlich auch noch Neoprenanzüge im Sale | außerdem waren wir in einem kleinen Laden einer Münchnerin, die seit neun Jahren in Neuseeland hängen geblieben ist | wir waren beide aufjedenfall vom surfen fertig und konnten sehr gut schlafen 

Before we start, a convoy with fancy caravans drive from the campground | people, which work for a festival, cool thing | then we drove to Raglan, the surfing hot spot | on the way we stopped in Matamata to visit the hobbiton village | but there the tours were fully booked | but that was ok, because one ticket costs 79!!!NZD | Raglan is a wonderful small town, where we find a campground near the ocean | Axel and I looking for a surfschool, successful | so I graduated the next day my first surf lessons | Axel could hire a board and suit and finally surf | it was a great feeling | the parents were chilling at the beach and can watch us surfing | at afternoon we walked through the town and enjoyed the nice weather | it was cool to see that the kiwis are so active and enjoy the life outside | we found indeed neoprene suits for sale | we were also in a little shop from a Munich woman, which has been hanging in New Zealand for nine years | we both was definitely done from surfing and slept well
