76 Etappe | Raglan --> Waitomo 122 Km

Axel ist mal wieder früh aufgestanden und den Sonnenaufgang festgehalten | wir machten nochmal einen Stopp am Strand und leihen uns für ein paar Stunden ein Surfbrett aus | für mich war der Tag nicht so erfolgreich wie gestern | vermutlich brauche ich nochmal Surfstunden | Axel macht sich ganz gut, er will aber üben | nächster Stop ist dann Waitomo, wo es die Waitomo Caves gibt | dort finden wir einen Campingplatz gekoppelt mit einem backpacker hostel | dort können wir Küche, Dusche und Gemeinschaftsraum mit nutzen | so können wir unsere Geräte laden und richtig schön aufkochen, Spaghetti bolognese | als es dunkel wird, machen wir uns auf den Weg zu einem Reserve 15 Minuten entfernt | dort können wir einen Spaziergang machen und Glühwürmchen sehen | das ist ziemlich cool | in den Waitomo Caves gibt es Touren für viel zu viel Geld und wir können dieses Spektakel in der Natur genießen | jedoch handelt es sich nicht um Glühwürmchen | es sind minikleine Raupen, die mit einem Leuchtfaden andere kleine Tiere anlocken um sie zu fressen | Richtig Karin? | auf dem schwarzen Foto sind also keine Sterne zu sehen, sondern die Glühwürmer 

Axel stand up again very early to take pictures from the sunrise | we made a break at the beach and hire a surfboard for few hours | for me the day was not so successful like yesterday | maybe I need surf lessons again | Axel is doing quite well, but want to practice more | next stop is Waitomo, where the Waitomo caves are | there we found a campground coupled with backpacker hostel | there we can use the kitchen, shower and the common room | so we can load up the electric setup and cook a great dinner, Spaghetti bolognese | when it's getting dark we drove to a reserve 15 minutes away | there we can make a walk and look for glow worms | that's really great | at the Waitomo Caves they offer tours for a lot of money and we can see the spectacle in the nature for free | but they are not really glow worms | they are mini caterpillars, which have a glowing thread to attract other little animals to eat them | right Karin? | on the black picture are no stars, but the glowworms
